ORA-01102: Cannot mount database in exclusive mode

-OS - Windows Server 2003 SP2

-Oracle Apps - 11.5.10

-Trying to stop whole Oracle Applications using adstpall

-Got error Concurrent Manager could not be stopped

-There after tried to stop database using shut immediate

-That also didnt worked.

-CPU reached 100%

-Done shut abort

-Database got down

-Tried to startup the DB

-It throw error

ORA-01102: cannot mount database in exclusive mode

-Done shut immediate

-Stop the listener using addlnctl.sh

-Stop the Oracle Service from services.msc

-Restarted the Machine

-And Problem Solved

-DB & Apps are up again!!
